Prayer Ministry

“The Boiler Room”

We know that prayer is an essential part of our lives as individuals and as a faith family. Prayer is the place where we experience and express intimacy with God. It is also the place from which we receive power for life and ministry. Charles Spurgeon, a famous preacher in the 18th century England, referred to prayer gatherings in his church as the “Boiler Room.”

In Spurgeon’s time, boiler rooms were the power houses. They drove everything. Spurgeon believed that prayer was the spiritual power behind the effectiveness of his ministry. Each week, there are opportunities to gather and pray for God’s blessings on our worship gatherings and over the needs of our faith family members. As a part of the Boiler Room Team, you can choose to participate during our Sunday prayer with the pastor, our Tuesday ladies prayer, or any time that we can come together as the people of God with the desire to seek our Heavenly Father.
